Just start with breakfast...

Sharon Taylor - Monday, September 28, 2009
If you're feeling overwhelmed in an area of your life at the moment, take a step back and try and think of one small thing that you could do to start you on the track you wish to be on.  For example, if your eating habits are spiralling out of control and if day after day you wake up thinking, 'this will be the day that I eat healthy for the whole day' but it never works out that way, don't beat yourself up about it, just start with breakfast.  Change only one aspect of your diet at a time.  Start your day off on the right foot with a healthy, fillng and nutritious breakfast, and let the rest of the day follow.

Something

Sharon Taylor - Thursday, August 27, 2009
A lovely old man of 86 told me something today that resonated with me.  He said "I believe there are only three things you need in life...

Someone to love.
Something to do.
And something to look forward to."

So simply really, but maybe sometimes forgotten in  the busy day to day life we all keep. So, take the time and tell someone you love them, get up and do something you love and get excited about what the future may hold.

Welcome to Your Move Fitness

Welcome, Welcome, It’s Your Move.

Well, it’s taken me a little while to get this Blog started, but since the birth of Your Move into the internet world, I’m thinking there’s no better time.
Your Move is my business baby and has been born out of health and fitness, however I hope not limited to. I believe that good health is the essence of many contributing factors.  And yes, being active and exercising regularly is definitely important, but so too is the food we eat, the friends (and pets) we choose, the thoughts we think and the way we spend our time. So yes, I will be writing about exercise and fitness, but I also want to write about other things that I love in my life, everything that makes up my lifestyle. Some times things may be educational, some times motivational or empowering and some times just for fun.
I want everyone to believe that they can be fit and healthy and it doesn’t have to be extreme. Get a start now. Choose something you’d like to change, it doesn’t matter how small, and do it. It’s Your Move!
